Henry Charles is a Soul, Funk & Jazz guitarist based in Wanaka with 20 years performing / recording experience and a growing repertoire of jazz & latin fingerstyle guitar pieces including jazz standards, post-modern adaptations and original material.
Henry offers a 1 – 2 hr set suitable for Canapes hours and other events / settings in need of some smooth, organic soul / jazz guitar in the background. No vocals, no loops, no pedals, just nice guitar grooves coming out of a big tube amp (soaked in reverb).
As an additional option; Henry Charles has also formed a 6 piece Funk Band around his new album: Funk Royale (see spotify link below), catering for events needing a big-band funk & soul sound (similar to a Cory Wong / Dojo Cuts type vibe).
