The Artist’s House is immersive art house accommodation.
It is more than a house, it is an experience! Sonia has been decorating the walls, ceilings, hanging art, sewing cushions and planting so many native trees and shrubs, and she is opening up my home for you to experience. Part of her goal as an artist, is to inspire people about the many ways you can live with art, as art is not just a painting you hang on a wall, it can be fun and playful, it can be directly on the walls, it can be something laboured over for months or a spontaneous installation that took only hours.
Each space weaves into another. From room to room, splashes of colour and artworks entice you around the corner and into the next space. Open the doors to the outside and there is a portal that leads you into the courtyard with pizza oven and hot tub. Each part is embedded with stories, of the special event it was created for, or the lovely humans who came together to help on a project.
“Where do I start! This house far exceeded my expectations. It’s so much better than the photos. Sonia was the kindest host and made me feel immediately at ease in her presence. She gave us the run down of the amazing features this place has, and boy does it have a lot! Her art is just breathing takingly beautiful.”

“Everything flows and every time you look around you discover another precious piece of art you hadn’t noticed before. The funky lights and crystal surrounded tv made for such a memorable movie night. There is a river out the back and raspberries for picking. The house itself was far larger than I expected and the pizza oven was so much fun to use.
It truly was the most magical house I have EVER stayed in, and that is why have already booked to go back!”
