Having lived, worked and travelled all over the world Pip and her family moved to Lake Hāwea in 2005. Having attended too many “solemn and formal” weddings over the years and getting married to an ex-Buddhist monk inspired Pip to become a Celebrant. Her husband instilled a love of ritual and with her sociable nature and her performance background it seemed the natural choice.
Pip prides herself on relaxed, fun and meaningful weddings and being practical, intuative and professional. She will help you plan your service with examples and suggestions for the mood and style you seek and be a calming influence throughout.
As a professional singer Pip is happy to sing during the service if you would like a song sung (and friends and family refuse!). She can also happily lead the congregation in a song if needed. Fancy a buddhist chant? Pip knows someone.
These are comments couples have made:

“Thanks for caring about getting to know us a little and for being completely open to all our crazy ideas!”
“You had us all crying when you sang”.
